WARNING: When heavy storms are forecasted,
unplug your charger or disconnect the switch #52.
This will interrupt the lead wire
from the fence to the charger.
Never disconnect or approach a fence during a lightning storm.
By installing one LIGHTNING DIVERTER
at each corner of your fence you offer multiple options for the
lightning to go back to the ground, thus reducing possible damage. |
- As you can see on this sketch, the lightning will arc directly
and finish its dangerous trip into the soil.
The lower brass tip is adjustable with a simple cross screwdriver.
If your fence charger is so strong that it arcs, unscrew the
brass tip by 5 or 6 complete turns so only the lightning can
use this short way to go to ground.

| - The lower tip of the
lightning diverter is « waiting » for the lightning to jump through
anytime! |
