PASTURE
HorseGuard creates effective boundaries
for individual horses, herds, stallions,
ponies, etc. Other animals that respect
HorseGuard tape are cattle, goats,
lama, elephants, and more. Depending
on the number of strands and height, wild
animals will either stay out or pass through
with no harm to themselves or the fence.
Pasture or turnout fencing typically is
designed with 2 strands of tapes, but
sometimes with 3 or 4 strands of tapes can be used. |

With mares foaling in this small
paddock the foal imprints immediately
with no adverse effect
and will thereafter respect
tape fencing for the remainder
of its life.

PASTURE ROTATION
| If your field is large you can double or triple the
grass production by selective grazing or pasture
rotation. It is possible to split the fi eld into
smaller sections with the fallow parts available
for any management requirements such as
mowing, mucking out, harrowing, weed killing,
fertilizing or rolling. Pasture rotation also helps
to break the parasite cycle. |
