HorseGuard can be installed to make existing fence higher :

Cut off the length you need for extension from a ½ inch fiberglass stake or metal rebar. Drill a 5/8” hole (2” deep) in the top of each post. Tap an insulator onto the top of each extender stake, then insert the stakes into the pre-drilled posts.

Attach the tape to the insulators. This extends the height of your existing fence and reduces the potential for jumping, chewing, etc.
